PESGB Annual Conference 2013

Date: 22 Mar to 24 Mar 2013
Venue: New College, Oxford

Annual Conference

The Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain returns once more to New College, Oxford for its 2013 Annual Conference.

The conference is an opportunity to hear philosophical papers on aspects of educational theory, policy and practice, to present your own work in the area, and to engage in discussion and debate with members of the philosophy of education community. We hope that you will enjoy the convivial and collegial atmosphere that has made our previous conferences such memorable occasions. We also hope you will contribute to the poster presentation session.

Bursaries of £164 are available to assist delegates with no external source of funding and who are not eligible for the concessionary rate (previously full-time student/unwaged). We hope in particular to assist practising teachers, part-time students and academic staff on part-time contracts. Please indicate on the form if you wish to apply for a bursary for the full conference, and include a short note of your status.

The programme will begin at 1.00 with a free lunch in the dining hall of New College and will finish before the start of the main conference.
