The International Network of Philosophers of Education (INPE)

The International Network of Philosophers of Education is an organisation dedicated to: 

  • Fostering dialogue among philosophers of education globally 
  • promoting tolerance in the field of education and facilitating better understanding between thinkers of different schools of thought 
  • exchanging information, encouraging joint and comparative research, sharing materials and co-operating in publishing and organising conferences for the in-depth discussion of current issues and the evolution of new initiatives     

Conferences

INPE conferences are held every two years. Previous conferences have been held in:

Studies in Philosophy of Education 

The official journal of INPE is Studies in Philosophy and Education which is published by Kluwer Academic Publishers. Members receive as part of their subscription six issues a year of the journal.
