The Society has always welcomed the contribution of students to its various events, and projects. One of the main aims of the Society is to promote the study of Philosophy of Education at all levels. Students are encouraged to attend all Society events at local, national and international level. In addition the Society holds events specifically for those engaged in higher education courses.
The Undergraduate and PGCE day conference is held annually. Details of the 2008 Undergraduate and PGCE conference will be published on the web site when available.
The Research Student conference was held on 31st March before the PESGB annual conference at New College, Oxford.
The Postgraduate Student Summer School is a selective conference whose places are awarded by essay competition. This competition is open to all students. Details of the 2008 conference are now available.
The Society also welcomes applications for Grants and Awards to support the production and dissemination of philosophy of education [more details]. Application is limited to those who have held membership of the society for at least one year.
