Annual General Meeting

The Society is run by and for its members.

The highest decision-making body of the society is the Annual General Meeting of its members. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is normally held once a year at the society’s annual conference. At the AGM, the society discusses the activities conducted by the society during the past year, passes its accounts, elects the executive committee, and decides on activities for the coming year.

AGM 2021

Dear PESGB member,

Given the ongoing restrictions that we are all living under, the trustees of the society have taken the decision to run the 2021 PESGB AGM online using the ‘Zoom’ Platform. The meeting will place on Friday 26th March 2021 at 5pm (UK time). Access details will have been sent to all members by email.

The main purpose of the AGM is to provide members with information about the running of the society and to offer an opportunity for discussion. A set of papers to accompany the meeting can be found below.

The main business to be conducted at the AGM is the approval of the trustee’s annual report, and the accounts from the treasurer.

The results of the elections to the executive committee will be announced at the meeting.

May I take this opportunity to thank you for your participation in this meeting and your involvement with the PESGB.
