Emile Bojesen is Reader in Education and Faculty Head of Research and Knowledge Exchange at University of Winchester.
He teaches philosophically oriented education modules on both the BA Education Studies and MA Philosophy of Education. He has published numerous articles in academic journals. Emile is engaged in two discreet areas of educational research: an ongoing theoretical investigation into educational experience that exceeds intentional education; and a theoretically informed but practically oriented concern with how intentional education can be made less harmful and more helpful to those who are subjected to it. Emile’s research is interdisciplinary in the sense that it attempts to explore issues relevant to and emerging from the arts, literature, politics, psychology, history and education. His most recent book is Forms of Education: Rethinking Educational Experience Against and Outside the Humanist Legacy, published by Routledge.
