Lisa Bortolotti is Professor of Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy, University of Birmingham. She has research interests in the philosophy of psychology and psychiatry and in biomedical ethics. Her books include The Epistemic Innocence of Irrational Beliefs (OUP, 2020), Irrationality (Polity, 2014) and Delusions and Other Irrational Beliefs (OUP, 2009).
